Etsy's main search is filled with mass-produced goods, dropshipped items, and print-on-demand products. Handifaire focuses exclusively on shops selling handmade items. You can browse by category and find real artisans without wading through non-handmade sellers.
You can browse shops by category. Each shop has a profile with their branding, description, and their most popular products highlighted. You can click through to visit their Etsy shop and make a purchase whenever you find something you love.
You can add any shop to your Favorites list to save it for later. This creates a personal collection of shops you want to return to or remember.
When you visit a shop profile, you will see an option to add it to your Favorites. You can manage your Favorites anytime from your account.
You can add notes to any shop in your Favorites list. Use notes to remind yourself about products you are interested in, custom requests you want to make, price points you are watching for, or anything else that helps you remember why you saved that shop.
That functionality is not currently available. Your Favorites list is personal to your account.
You can browse the directory without an account. However, you will need to create an account to use the Favorites feature and add notes.
We do not share your information with shops or third parties. Your Favorites list and notes are private to your account.
No. When you find a shop you want to contact, you can reach out to them directly through their Etsy shop.
When you go to the shop profile click on either the etsy shop, product or coupon links and you will be taken directly to their Etsy shop where you can make your purchase.
Since purchases happen through Etsy, you will work with the shop and Etsy's resolution system directly, just as you would with any Etsy purchase.
New shops are added regularly. You can check back to discover new artisans in categories you care about.

No, we would encourage you to leave reviews for shops directly through Etsy. If you feel there is an issue with a shop listing here, you can use the flagging system on the shop listing to report it.
We would encourage you to contact the shop owner and have them add their own shop. The only way to add a shop is through our shop signup form.
